Your family's privacy matters to us deeply. Snuddle: Baby Sleep Sounds ("Snuddle," "we," "our," or "us") is a sound and ambience app designed to help newborns, infants, and toddlers sleep — and to help parents find their own moments of calm. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (including your email address when you choose to provide it), how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information.

App Preferences & Usage Data
When you use Snuddle, we collect anonymous, aggregated data about how you interact with the app — for example, which presets are selected most often, which sound categories are most popular, and how sound layers are combined. This data is used solely to improve the app and inform decisions about new features and presets that would be most helpful to parents.
This data is never linked to your identity, your email address, or any personal identifier. It is collected and processed in aggregated form only — we see patterns across all users, not what any individual parent or baby prefers. Your personal sound mix and settings are not stored on our servers in any form attributable to you.
Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you use Snuddle, your device's operating system may automatically share anonymous diagnostic information (crash reports, performance metrics) with Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Where analytics SDKs are used, anonymous device identifiers such as Android ID may be accessed solely for session analytics. No data of this type is linked to your personal identity or email address.

3. Email Collection & Consent
How and why we collect your email — When you install Snuddle, you may be invited to provide your email address to receive app updates, new feature announcements, and occasional parenting tips related to baby sleep. This is entirely optional and is presented as a clear opt-in — you are never required to provide your email to use the app.
How We Collect Your Email
Your email address is collected through one or more of the following methods:
- In-app opt-in form — an optional screen presented during or after app setup that invites you to subscribe to updates.
- App Store install attribution — where the App Store shares your email with us as part of the app download process and you have consented to this through your App Store account settings.
- Direct support contact — when you email us at info@white-noise-for-baby.com.

- Occasional promotional communications about Snuddle
We do not sell your email address to any third party, and we do not use it to send advertising for other companies' products.
How to Unsubscribe or Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw your consent and stop receiving emails from us at any time using any of these methods:
- Unsubscribe link — every marketing email we send includes a clear one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it will immediately remove you from our mailing list.
- Email us directly — send an email to info@white-noise-for-baby.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and we will remove you within 5 business days.
- Request deletion — email us to request that your email address be permanently deleted from our records (see Section 8).
Email Service Provider
We use a third-party email service provider to manage and send communications. This provider processes your email address on our behalf under a data processing agreement that prohibits them from using your data for any purpose other than delivering our emails. We will update this section with the specific provider name prior to app launch.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & PDPA)
Snuddle is designed to be used by parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers aged 0–5. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and, where applicable, the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Specifically:
- We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).
- We do not collect any information about the babies or children whose sleep the app supports — not their name, age, sleep data, or any other detail.
- The email address we collect (with consent) is that of the parent or guardian, not a child.
- The app contains no advertising, no in-app behavioural tracking, and no social features that a child could interact with.
- If you believe a child has somehow submitted personal information through our app or website, please contact us immediately at info@white-noise-for-baby.com and we will promptly delete it.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

7. Security & Encryption

- Encryption at rest — email addresses stored on our email service provider's servers are encrypted at rest.

- Minimal collection by design — Snuddle is architected so that personal data (your email address) is never stored on the app itself or transmitted through the app's servers. Sound preferences and settings remain entirely on your device.

Snuddle is operated from Singapore. If you access the app from outside Singapore, please be aware that any email address you provide may be processed in Singapore and by our email service provider's servers, which may be located in other jurisdictions.

For users in the EEA, our legal bases for processing personal data are:

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app, our data practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Post the revised policy at https://white-noise-for-baby.com/privacy-policy.
- For material changes — such as collecting new categories of personal data — notify subscribed users by email and display an in-app notice on next launch, giving you the opportunity to review the changes and withdraw consent if you wish.
- Update our Apple App Store Privacy Nutrition Label and Google Play Data Safety form to reflect any changes before the next app submission.
Continued use of Snuddle after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
