Your trust matters to us. Snuddle: Baby Sleep Sounds ("Snuddle," "we," "our," or "us") is a sound and ambience app built to help newborns, infants, and toddlers sleep — and to give parents their own moments of calm. This Copyright Notice explains who owns the App, where its content comes from, and how to contact us with any intellectual property questions or concerns.

4. Audio Content — Sources & Rights

The App's primary content is ambient and sleep-oriented audio for infants and caregivers. The audio in the App is drawn from two categories of source, both of which are appropriately cleared for inclusion in the App and for distribution through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

4.1 AI-generated audio (owned by Snuddle)

4.2 Royalty-free & free-for-commercial-use audio (used under license)

4.3 What Snuddle does not use

4.4 Records and verification

Snuddle retains records of the source and applicable license for each audio asset in the App, including, as appropriate, AI-generation prompts and outputs, license documents, source URLs, and attribution metadata. These records can be made available to Apple, Google, or another lawful requester on reasonable request, for the purpose of verifying the rights position of any specific audio asset in the event of an intellectual property dispute or store review inquiry.

5. Trademarks

"Snuddle" is used as the name of the App and as a brand identifier. Any registration status of the mark is to be confirmed in the relevant jurisdictions; absence of a registration symbol does not waive any common-law rights that may subsist in the mark, the wordmark, or the associated mascot character.

All other product names, company names, and brand names referenced in the App or in this Copyright Notice are the property of their respective owners. Reference to such names does not imply endorsement of, or affiliation with, the App.

6. License Granted to End Users

Subject to the App's end user license agreement and the applicable terms of the Apple App Store and Google Play, Snuddle grants each end user a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to install and use the App on devices the user owns or controls, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

No rights are granted to copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, publicly perform, broadcast, sample, remix, or commercially exploit the App or any of its audio, visual, or written content, except as expressly permitted by applicable law (such as private, non-infringing personal use).

7. Third-Party Software & Open Source

The App is built using third-party open-source software components. These components remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are used under their respective licenses. A complete list of such components, their version numbers, and their license texts is maintained within the App (under Settings / About / Open Source Licenses or an equivalent screen) and is also retained in the App's source repository.

Categories of components used

All such components are used in accordance with the terms of their respective licenses (typically MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, or ISC). Required attribution notices are reproduced in the App's open-source acknowledgments screen.

8. User-Generated Content

The App does not solicit or host user-generated audio content as part of its core functionality. To the extent any future feature permits a user to upload, record, or contribute content, Snuddle will require the user to confirm that they hold the necessary rights, and Snuddle will operate a notice-and-takedown process consistent with applicable law and store policies.
